Training
Our Facilities
We currently train at Sedgeway Equestrian Centre, which is located just off the A142 Witchford Bypass, 2 miles west of Ely
We have a full set of agility equipment, including training weaves and lower contacts, and are presently building up a second set. We also have 2 full sets of flyball jumps, along with 1 BFA style box and 2 Crufts style boxes.
We predominantly train inside the Indoor Riding School, which is approximatley 20m x 40m.
We currently run agility, flyball and obedience sessions.
If you are interested in getting started in one of these displines, or wish to join one of the more advanced groups,
please contact us.
Our Training
We are happy to take new dogs onto our Obedience-for-Agility course, which covers foundation work, from 9 months of age. Beginners are welcome to start on our Bronze Agility course once the dog has reached 12 months. The dog then works it way up through our beginners courses, including Bronze, Silver and Gold levels. Upon graduation from the gold course, the dog is able to join our club classes, which also encompass our competing dogs, from grade 1 through to grade 7.
We occasionally run beginners flyball blocks. These consist of 8 sessions to introduce the dog to both styles of flyball box, along with the jumps. Once the dog is happy, it is able to join our club flyball class where it is possible to train towards competition
All classes are approximatley 1 hour long, including equipment set up or take down time, although we are happy to discuss individual needs and train smaller groups by prior arrangement.
